We started the day on foot, at 8:00 in the morning and wandered through the city without a map or destination. Unfortunately it rained heavily most of the day and without a phone or calling card we were stranded. It seriously crossed our mind to just sleep on the street but a kind old taxi driver finally picked us up at 9:00 pm, I guess out of pity. Passing under the U.S. Interests Section on foot and cold (while being a U.S. citizen) is incredible memorable.
